The Alarm.com skill for Amazon Echo makes it easier than ever to control your smart home with the hands-free convenience of voice commands.

Want to check the arming status of your smart home security system, change the temperature, or turn your living room light off? Just ask Alarm.com via Alexa, the Echo's voice-controlled assistant. And, with a single voice command you can control all these devices at once.

With a La Alarms system powered by Alarm.com and Alexa, you can use your voice to control and check the status of the most important connected devices around your house. Just say "Alexa, ask Alarm.com to…" followed by your command or question.  Alarm.com either gives you a quick answer via the Echo, or automatically triggers the device into action.

Voice-controlled security

Securing your home has never been easier. You can ask Alarm.com to lock your front door, confirm that your home's smart locks are locked. You can arm and check the status of your security system and your garage door, and even tell Alarm.com to record a video clip on any of your security cameras.

If you'd like multiple devices to act at once—for example, your doors locking automatically when you arm your system—it's easy to log into Alarm.com and create automation rules that will work with voice commands.

Voice-controlled comfort

It's easy to control your Alarm.com Smart Thermostat with voice commands. You can ask Alarm.com what the current temperature is, and specify the temperature that you'd like the house to be.

You can also increase or decrease your home's temperature by two degrees simply by asking: "Alexa, ask Alarm.com to make it warmer/cooler."
